Margaret Mary Health is a 25-bed critical access hospital located between Cincinnati, Ohio and Indianapolis. It may have only 25 beds, but in many ways, it isn’t small at all.
It provides a broad scope of services to a population of some 65,000 – including 24-hour emergency, maternity, outpatient rehabilitation, home health, hospice, and cancer care.
Personal, attentive, compassionate care is something that many hospitals claim. With 25 beds, it’s what MMH delivers every day. Physicians and staff know their patients here; and patients know they’re getting very personal care.
Communications/Marketing Budget Has To Work Extra Hard
With only 25 beds, it’s tough to compete with what the big hospitals do to market themselves. Every penny MMH spends has to work extra hard. Even with a limited budget, MMH has a strong presence in social media, they do newspaper & radio advertising, and create brochures and flyers to help market the hospital and promote special services and events.
How Can a Music On Hold Program Help?
Mind The Gap’s on hold messaging service is an important part of MMH’s communication program. Becky Walter, Communication Specialist at MMH says “Mind The Gap makes it easy and affordable to promote our services and physicians to a market that we know is already inclined to think about MMH in a positive way.”
Patients and people using one service of the hospital may not be aware of all that MMH has to offer – both in and out of the hospital. Mind The Gap helps spread the word; and we’re proud to play a part in helping this caring, not-for-profit institution serve its community.
